I really like it but there's that white thing in the upper right hand corner area and I look at it instead. I think it would be better without it but, that is my opinion.
i like it because of the common feelings and interest it provokes, as kids and even adults, we're always attracted and interested in a birds nest. It's a bit high contrast. I started trying to look for detail in the shells and some were just whited out.
Yes, I figured that 1 year plus of those eggs sitting on my deck was sufficient. They have been photographed for posterity and recycled for compost. Susie-it is possible that the whites may be more blown out on your monitor than mine. Screens are stupid that way. Every one handles tone and color different than the next. I aim for highlights for printing sake so I'll let you see a print than you can tell me what you think then. Holly-I agree, I think I shall tone it down a bit, thanks. Actually Marie-this one was just for fun. The eggs were found in my backyard during some landscaping. Ok-long post officially over.
I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from Brigham Young University and a Master of Fine Arts degree through Maine Media College. I currently teach photography at Utah Valley University.

Love the textures. Is this another piece for Utah Lake? I actually like the high contrast in this one.
You finally decided to get rid of it, huh? About time. :)
