Goblin Erosion

This is one of only a couple of pictures that I took at Goblin Valley last summer. This small number of exposures is not due to lack of interest or subject matter. I love Goblin Valley. No, the small number is due to my camera taking a 6-foot swan dive off my tripod and onto the hard goblin rocks. That effectively ended my photo afternoon and started the task of trying to rebuild my camera without good tools. No worries, it is back in good form and almost as good as new.

The Organ

Here is "The Organ." A lesser known landmark in Zion National Park, mainly because of its much more famous, and larger, neighbor; Angels Landing. Hopefully its not known for blocking the view of The Great White Throne. Here I thought it provided a nice complement as it sat in the shade between Cable Mountain and The Great White Throne.

Grafton

This photograph is from a ghost town called Grafton, just outside of Zion National Park. This is the old schoolhouse/church and the old Russell home. If you are an old movie buff and the song "Raindrops keep falling on my head" suddenly comes to mind, then yes you are correct. This is where that movie was filmed.
