Missed the cut...

I know I just said I wasn't going to post new Utah Lake stuff but I decided to post this one anyways because I like the image but there is an extremely high probability that it won't make the cut so I decided to share it now.

Spring and Sky

I have been shooting a lot lately for my MFA thesis. I am refraining from posting any pictures from the project until I get finished so I am going through old pictures that never saw the light of a backlit monitor. Come November there will be some posts of all my new Utah Lake pictures. Until then, enjoy some blasts from the past. (This was from Cascade Springs - 2008)

Outside Acadia

I have a few shots from last summer that I never got around to sharing. The story behind this image: I drove all over Acadia National Park in Maine with my parents. It was pretty but I was underwhelmed photographically. I didn't even pull out the camera until we started to head for our hotel and we crossed an old bridge outside of the park. This is where the river met the ocean. Kind of weird to be intrigued more by the neighborhoods surrounding the national park than the park itself.
