Memorial Day - 9/11 Memorial
This is the South Pool of the 9/11 memorial. This pool marks the footprint of what was the South Tower of the World Trade Center that was destroyed on September 11, 2001. This image will be my simple Memorial Day tribute to all that have lived and died in support of freedom and of this country.
I also participated in a blog that some students at UVU started about war photography to correspond with Memorial Day. Its called Arts & Facts and you can listen to it here.

Carp Removal
Notice how the boat sits in the water with and without the daily load of carp. Approximately 10 ton of carp is removed daily from the lake in an effort to restore (or at least stabilize) the ecosystem.

Me as a Tintype
This was a tintype created of me as part of a web episode about the history of photography that I co-hosted. It is called Film! and is part of the Framed Network. Ryan Muirhead and Matt McDaniel took the picture. Tia Reagan and Tanja Schlosser Lippert were in charge of styling and in making me look more professorial. Not sure I'm ready to implement the look on a full-time basis yet but I approve of the tintype.
You can watch the episode "HERE". Let me know what you think.
